A High Profile Mac Switch

I just read on GigaOm that Marc Andreesen, founder of Netscape back in the day, has switched to a Mac.

His story is similar to mine.  Started out on a Mac and then moved to Windows.  Now back on the Mac.

As an aside, our iMac at Calvary Chapel had a hard drive failure.  All the Windows folks that I have made learn how to use a Mac are now giving me grief.  C’est la vie.  Macs are not perfect.  Just the best for what I do.

On Switching to the Mac

About a year ago I switched to using a Mac as my main computer and bought an Apple Powerbook running Mac OS X. It was a homecoming of sorts because when I started my professional career back in 1988 I worked on the original Mac Classic. [read more...]
